Research Area Hall is a hallway on the B1 level of the facility in Dino Crisis.

Description

It is a long hallway connecting the Library Room with the Computer Room and the Research Meeting Room - where you can also find the Gas Experiment Room.

There are 2 laser shutters present on either side of the door leading into the Research Meeting Room, and a Green Emergency Box, which require 2 plugs to open.

Guide

Near the door leading into the Library Room, there are two Velociraptors present.

• If you don't want to fight them right away, enter the hallway from the Computer Room instead, as you will find the Raptors on the opposite side of the laser barrier from where you stand.
• Bring a shotgun loaded with buckshot to take them out both at the same time.

The player will pass through this hallway on multiple occasions

1. Upon first entering the area from either side, as you need to enter the Research Meeting Room in order to find the code for the Gas Experiment Room.
2. When you need to get to the Gas Experiment Room (after unlocking it in the Computer Room)
3. When you need to head back to the Library Room in order to rewrite the Key Chip
4. If you side with Gail after the lockdown in the Computer Room. Be warned, as there will be two more Raptors waiting in this hallway.

• If the player side with Rick after the lockdown, they will instead bypass this area as they are using the Emergency escape tunnel instead.
