This is the first North Route ventured, before going proceeding to Jungle/North Route ②.

This room's enemies spawn in four sets. If the total number of enemies in that set is killed, the room will be barren on subsequent visits until the player triggers the next set. New sets (and, therefore, new enemies) replace old sets the further the player gets into the game. It should be noted that while normally there are 15 (25 on Hard) Velociraptors appearing in Set 1, an additional three spawn in the cutscene that plays the first time it is explored.^[1]
