Dino Crisis was a game title for the GameBoy Color. No footage is publicly available of this demo, though developer Tim Hull has claimed to have a copy on his harddrive.[1]

Development[]

Following the release of Dino Crisis in 1999, Capcom expressed interest in a GameBoy title to follow-up on its success. Rather than develop one themselves, they approached their European distribution partner, Virgin, to get them in touch with a third party developer. M4 was hired on to produce a playable demo for both parties to evaluate. Although impressed with the demo, Capcom was more interested in M4's understanding of handheld design philosophy, and instead shelved the game so they could work on a Resident Evil project, which ultimately became Resident Evil Gaiden.[1]
