Bleeding Status was introduced in Dino Crisis. Similar to the poison status of the older Resident Evil games, bleeding slowly reduces the player's health over time. However, unlike poison, it eventually stops. To cure it instantly, a Hemostat or Medpak L must be used to prevent health loss, as other medicines would only replenish health bar, but not stop the bleeding.

TriviaEdit

  • Although Dino Crisis was technically the first Capcom Survival Horror game to use it, Bleeding status also appears in the game Resident Evil Outbreak and its sequel Outbreak File #2 and more recently, Resident Evil Revelations 2 and it behaves similarly.
